T.S.Post is a project that was born out of the Frozen Dreams project. I had made some songs with vocals that didn't quite fit the concept of Prima Vista. Anyway, American singer Tracee Lewis loved the songs and we recorded them. Lately we have developed the project further, now working on completely new material where Tracee writes the lyrics. The music may be classified as Pop music with elements of Hip Hop, Dance and R&B.

"Windshave" 1990 is a collection of material used in different multimedia shows, videos and AV-presentations.Here you can enjoy music from modern ballets as well as film and performance music. It also contains  co-compositions with Hans Christian Fossum, that was a close friend and fellow musician for many years. Our main work is the music for the virtual ballet "Arrival" and our largest scale work are two five channel surround productions made for film director Ivo Caprino.Since the album was meant as a summary of the multimedia work of Svend Undseth, it was released as a solo album. The music on this album is like a good film with shifting moods and massive sound walls. No wonder it was difficult for critics as well as record stores to classify this album.

"Grenseland" is the first solo album by Svend Undseth. It was released by Polydor "Nordisc" in 1980 and has the style of electro-acoustic instrumental music. After Vanessa Svend Undseth wanted to take his music a step further and rigged up his old Teac 4-track in the living room. The result of the demo was sent to Polygram and believe it or not, they wanted to release the DEMO! After some days in the thinking box Undseth agreed upon releasing one side and take the rest to a studio. The result received good critics, but was never for sale outside Norway. If you got a copy, its a collectors item.

"Frozen Dreams", Prima Vista's newly released CD, draws its inspiration from the arctic landscapes of Norway, the Land of the Midnight Sun. In a series of lyrical and melodic tone poems it evokes the shifting moods, the beauty and the grandeur of the far north. For more information please visit the home page of Prima Vista. Read about people involved, buy CDs, make a booking.

Prima Vista ! "Basic" 1993 is recorded directly into a DAT-recorder. When you listen to this CD of "Crossover Music" you will experience the music exactly as it sounded to the musician during the recording. When we first started this duo it was really a trio, but the guitarplayer had commitments that didn't fit with some gigs. What to do? Go and buy some classical music that could be played on vibraphone and flute and take the gig. Yes, and what is the name? Oh, this is really prima vista, but.. So you are called Prima Vista, nice name. Since then we have been called Prima Vista and play both classical music and our own material.

"Glimt" is world music from Norway with singer Eli Storbekken. It was one of the first records of this kind made in Norway and is based on Norwegian folk music from the area round Østerdalen. Eli is still working as a folk musician and teacher of folk singing at the Folk Music Academia at Voss, Norway. This record contains compositions of Svend Undseth and Hans Christian Fossum. Svend is still playing gigs with Eli and has recently completed his work writing music sheets for her teaching book in traditional techniques of folk singing.

Vanessa "Black and White" 1997,was the third version of the group. After a break Frode Holm joined up again and the new rhythm section with Harald Salater ,bass and Thorsten Dulsrud on drums made this band one of the most exciting bands in the Scandinavian jazz/rock scene. Vanessa was one of the bands released on Compendium Records. A small quality company specialized in progressive music. They released bands like Henry Cow, Saluki, Archie Shepp/Karin Krog among others. Vanessa was lucky touring with some of their heroes from Soft Machine, King Crimson etc. called Hopper,Dean, Gallivan and Tippet in 1978-79.

Vanessa "City Lips" was released by Polygram in 1975, two years after it was recorded by Nils Bjarne Kvam in a two days session at the Arne Bendiksen Studios in Oslo. As one of the very first Jazz/Rock bands in Scandinavia they played frequently in Club 7 Oslo and similar clubs. This album is with the 1973-1976 version of the band with Knut Vaernes (guitar) Jan Erik Pedersen (bass) and Frank Aleksandersen (drums). Additional musicians at the time were: Brynjulf Blix and Haakon Graf on keyboards.
