origami replika aka real or dead A true freeform noise orchestra that appeared in various cameos from 1992 - 1998. From making the trash video film "How To Blow Up Anything In Ten Easy Lessons" a bunch of cassettes and things like unplayable vinyl records, real or_/replika went on to staging a Tolkien-based performance with direct actionist style vomiting and flesh wounds, to doing support for Einstürzende Neubauten in London, to chopping up a ghetto-blaster and headphone cords at a rather different live studio broadcasted radio "remix" of Madonna, and then to end their career in a folklore based destructo-spectacle with flutes and mouth harp from hellish mountains. Since the or_/replika name was by then already smeared by the other cameo - the ridiculous SchMerzPønkDaDa concept, the real replikants decided to kill it off.
