In the summer of 2000, Mr. John Hegre of The Hegre Foundation™ bought the Replika trademark for a 1000 $, as offered on the real replika website. Mr. Hegre soon set out to improve the Replika name in the established commercial music industry by focussing on the contemporary musical form known as 'trance music', the choice of the NEW generation. An opening live attack was directed at the Klubb Kanin 10 Year Anniversary in Trondheim, Norway Sep 9th, 2000. Mr. Hegre instructed the 'old' crew to perform their NEW music with the proper respect and energy, as he himself was on a business trip to New York at the time.
