rough proposal for an audio work...........duration
about 24 minutes

Proposal
temporal structure of sound
To make a series of audio soundtracks which will explore an idea of timelessness.
Hypersensitive compositions looping, disrupting the listeners perception of time/duration of the loops.
a state of hypersensitive listening, the listener becomes unaware of the duration of the piece, time becomes non-linear, temporal structure is broken down.
Static looping linear sound.

Explore microscopic changes which become epic………vast changes within timeless context…………subtle progressions appear to have an epic scale within a kind of "reduced listening"

Listening for fluctuations within minuet long term movements of sound
Structure:
Compositions 1-6 Of around 4 minutes
Volume-a sound gradually increasing over time in volume gives the listener expectation and can predict where sound is going.

sound dropping in volume also concentrate the listeners hearing into more sublime events
